Emergency Mobile Hose Repair

A blown hydraulic hose stops everything. The excavator bucket freezes. The steering on the loader goes limp. Fluid pours into the dirt. Every minute that machine sits idle costs you money, stalls your crew, and pushes your deadline back. You can't afford to trailer the machine, haul it to a shop, and wait in line. You need it fixed where it broke. SIG Hydraulics brings the shop directly to your job site. We operate fully stocked mobile service units stationed along Northeast Ohio's critical shipping and manufacturing corridors, including I-80, SR-11, SR-14, and SR-45. Our mobile units are designed to operate in deep mud, active quarries, and tight manufacturing bays. We carry a massive inventory of high-pressure hoses, fittings, adapters, and professional fabrication tools to rebuild your failed line on-site. When you call our dispatch, we send a technician who knows heavy machinery. We don't just guess at the problem. Our technician arrives, locates the failed hose, and performs a rapid on-site inspection. We identify why the hose failed in the first place. Was it abrasion? Was it routed with a twist? Did a pressure spike split the wire reinforcement? Finding the root cause is the only way to make sure the replacement hose lasts. Once we pull the failed line, we match it exactly. Our mobile units stock both 2-wire braid (SAE 100R2) and high-flex 4-wire spiral (SAE 100R12 and 100R15) hoses. We handle working pressures up to 6000 PSI, covering standard loader steering lines up to high-pressure main pump lines on heavy excavators. Our inventory includes a complete range of fittings: JIC, ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal), NPT, and heavy-duty SAE code 61 and code 62 flanges. We also carry specialized CAT-style flanges with thick shoulders to match OEM standards. Precision is critical. A loose fitting leaks. A dirty hose ruins pumps. We cut the replacement hose to length using specialized mobile cut-off saws that prevent wire fraying. Next, we clean the interior of the hose. We don't just blow shop air through it. We use an Ultra-Clean projectile launcher, shooting a foam plug through the hose at high velocity. This removes rubber dust and metal shavings left over from the cut. If you don't clean the hose, those small particles go straight to your control valves, scoring the spools and causing internal bypassing. After cleaning, we crimp the fittings using our on-board Uniflex mobile crimping presses. These are calibrated to hit exact manufacturer crimp diameters. We check every crimp with digital calipers. We make sure the collar is fully compressed without crushing the inner hose tube. We don't just hand you the hose. We install it. Our technicians understand correct hydraulic hose routing. We make sure the hose has enough slack to flex under pressure. We check the bend radius. If the bend is too tight, it kinks the wire reinforcement and cuts the hose life in half. We look for potential rub points. If the hose runs close to a frame rail or another line, we install heavy-duty abrasion sleeves or plastic wrap to protect it. We secure the line with heavy-duty clamps to keep it from whipping. Before we clear the machine to run, we proof-test the repair. We have you start the machine and cycle the cylinders. We check for leaks under full operational pressure. We verify that the new hose doesn't stretch, twist, or rub during the full range of motion. We check your hydraulic reservoir level. If you lost fluid during the blowout, we top off the tank with clean, compatible hydraulic oil. We carry standard ISO 32, ISO 46, and specialized agricultural fluids on our trucks. We also understand the environmental impact of a blowout. Hydraulic oil leaks are a hazard. When we complete a repair, we clean up the spill area. Our service trucks carry specialized oil absorbent pads, clay-based granular absorbents, and bio-remediation sprays to break down hydrocarbons in the soil. We bag and dispose of the contaminated material safely. We make sure your job site remains clean and in compliance with local environmental guidelines. Our mobile units also carry diagnostic test kits. If your hose blew due to a pressure spike, we can hook up high-pressure gauges to your system's diagnostic ports. We test the relief valve settings on your main pump. If a pressure relief valve is stuck closed, it will cause repeat blowouts. We check the pilot pressure and system operating temperatures. This on-site diagnostic testing helps prevent future failures and ensures your equipment operates within its safe parameters. We routinely service all major heavy equipment brands, including Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Bobcat, Case, Kubota, Volvo, and JCB. Whether it's a hydrostatic drive hose on a John Deere combine, a main boom hose on a CAT 320 excavator, or a steering line on a Bobcat skid steer, we have the hose and fittings to build it. We keep our trucks ready 24/7. When a line blows, you don't need a sales pitch. You need a technician with the right parts, the right tools, and the experience to get the job done. Call SIG Hydraulics. We're on the way. We keep our service trucks fully prepped and ready for immediate dispatch. We don't make you wait.
